So we didn't actually have any Singapore sling cocktails as we don't really like them but I think the titles work. So after being pleased that we had changed our flight we needed to check out by 11am. The hostel offered a transit option for about 2 pounds which meant we could leave our bags there, come back and shower and use the internet so we took that option for the extra 2 pounds. We decided to head to some malls as I wanted to go and look at bedding ! So after a quick breakfast of peanut butter toast and instant coffee in the hostel we made our way out to Orchard Road. This is the main shopping area of the city and where our hotel was when we were here last year on our honeymoon. As Sarah wanted to have a look at a bedding shop that she'd remembered from our last visit . In the bedding shop we found that they were actually US based so i'm sure we'll be kitted out with their stuff when we get back.
In the same mall was a Singapore Airlines office (Have I already mentioned that they're the best ever) that we popped into to check in.That sorted we continued to browse around and then headed for Chinatown.
This area was quite big but in typical Sinapore style a bit too clean. Anyway we found some nice dim sum for lunch
and Sarah enjoyed searching for a handbag that she saw in Saigon.

After a wander, we headed back to the hostel to clean up and get ready for the flight. We took the metro to the airport and decided to tuck into a burger and chips as our flight was at 11.45pm we felt this was too late to eat.
On board we were excited to be going to another new country.. we were off to see the wizard (you know the wonderful wizard of Oz)
